The Training Specialist is responsible for effectively conducting hands-on operational training for station employees, in accordance with The Inland Group of Companies protocols, applicable local, state and federal regulations, and those requirements mandated by our Customer(s). The Training Specialist is expected to effectively partner with the Inland Group of Companies Training Department and station Management to ensure that training is continuously improving and in compliance with all regulations and safety protocols.

ESSENCIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Including but not limited to):
• Support the company Mission, Values, and Purpose (MVP)
• Responsible for conducting Inland Group of Companies and Customer-mandated practical training
• Conduct hands-on ground support equipment training
• Maintain training records in the standard Inland Group of Companies format
• Provide leadership and coaching to increase overall, safety, performance, compliance, and customer service for the assigned location
• Coach and mentor employees on equipment operation while on-the-job, ensuring standards and procedures are being followed
• Take proper measures to ensure that aircraft are serviced properly and in compliance with airline and company requirements
• Assist the Manager and/or Certified Station Instructor (if applicable) with station audits
• Be part of the review and recommendation process for safety measures taken to prevent occurrences
• Make recommendations and provide input to station management and the Training Department to enhance training programs and drive continuous improvement
• Participate in station operations if applicable
• Compliance with all applicable environmental laws and permits
• Other duties as assigned by management

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
• Must successfully complete all required training courses
• Must demonstrate a pattern of excellent communication, mentoring, and working skills
• Must consistently demonstrate a mastery of the subject matter to be taught
• Must demonstrate the ability to transfer skills and knowledge to others
• Preferred one year of experience operating to Inland Group of Companies standards
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining professionalism in all interactions
• Ability to communicate in English and Spanish; must be able to read, write and speak fluently in both languages.

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, CREDENTIALS, AND EXPERIENCE:
• High School Diploma or GED Required
• Valid US driver’s license
• Must be able to pass all required background and clearance requirements
• Successful completion of required airport SIDA badging process (including airside driving) and pre-employment drug screen is required

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
• Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; speak clearly and hear efficiently
• Employees must regularly lift and/or move up to, in excess of 25/55 pounds
• Employees must have the ability to climb upwards of 15f foot heights
• Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• Exposure to weather conditions prevalent at the time
• Noise level in the work environment is excessive at times

TRAVEL:
Approximately 10% travel to facilities throughout the US possibly on short notice to meet immediate business needs
