I have been providing PERSONAL, PROFESSIONAL care for dogs, cats, and birds, hamsters and reptiles since 1998.
I provide daily, individual walks for dogs, board them in my home, and stay at their home. All types of walks provided; recurring, scheduled, ASAP. Just call and I’ll be there!
I care for cats in their home and board them in my home where they have free roaming privileges. No other animal is ever there when a cat is staying with me.
I am experienced in providing medical care for cats and dogs .
Bird care – parrots a specialty- and reptiles too!
I am a trained naturalist and have donated years of my time to the National Park Service.
My volunteer work includes 15 years fostering kittens for animal rescue groups including the SF/SPCA & San Francisco Animal Care and Control

“Bruce has been our dog walker for our 3-legged yellow lab Sam for the past 2 1/2 years. We recently moved to a different part of the city so we’ve had to find a new dog walker. This has been difficult, because Bruce has been such an excellent, reliable walker and important part of Sam’s life. My fiancee and I work in the peninsula, so we needed a walker to take Sam out every day around lunchtime. That means that Bruce walked Sam literally hundreds and hundreds of times, and we were always totally happy knowing that he was the one taking care of our pup.
We could always count on Bruce to give Sam a good walk, without other dogs, every day. And our schedules are always a little unpredictable and Bruce was always accommodating if we asked him to watch Sam at night or on the weekend, as well. The best part was that, since we lived in the same neighborhood we’d sometimes see Bruce while we were walking Sam ourselves, and it was always a delight to see how excited Sam would get when he saw Bruce. We also lived near a dog park, and on numerous occasions we’d hear from our dog park acquaintances that Sam was always so happy and well taken care of on his walks.
It’s not going to be possible for us to replace Bruce, but all we can hope is that we’re able to find a walker in our new neighborhood that’s anywhere close to as caring, trustworthy and competent as him. Thanks again for everything, Bruce!!”

“My two kitties happily stayed with him for over two months. He has taken special care to outfit his living space with “cat friendly” areas like hiding spaces and window perches. He clearly cared very much for my cats’ welfare and gave me detailed reports. He was also flexible when the time for their departure changed several times. I highly recommend Bruce if you need a place to keep your cat(s) for a long term stay.”
