The manufacturer of electric vehicles, BYD, reported that in January 2023, it delivered the first batch of over 340 BYD Atto 3 premium electric SUVs. These EVs were delivered to dealers last month as part of the dealer dispatch and will be distributed to customers across India. Recently, the BYD Atto 3 was introduced in India, with prices beginning at Rs 33.99 Lakhs (Ex-showroom). Since bookings for the electric SUV started on October 11, 2022, there have been about 2,000 reservations. By the end of this year, BYD India wants to increase the number of its dealers to 53.
BYD Atto 3 was a global model that sold 252,251 units in just 11 months after it was introduced in a number of nations and regions. BYD Atto 3 sales reached 23,231 units worldwide in January 2023 alone, showing that the product is popular with consumers.
It is outfitted with the born EV platform and the extremely secure Blade Battery (e-Platform 3.0). There are four colour options for this electric SUV: Boulder Grey, Parkour Red, Ski White, and Surf Blue. BYD also launched a Limited Edition BYD Atto 3 in a special Forest Green shade at the just finished Auto Expo 2023 for Rs 34.49 lakhs (Ex-showroom Delhi), which is also now available for bookings/deliveries.
The SUV has a certified range of 480 kilometres per NEDC standard and 521 kilometres per ARAI tests, with a larger battery capacity of 60.48 kWh, and a 0-100 kilometre per hour acceleration time of 7.3 seconds.
The BYD Atto 3 is a competitive vehicle on the market thanks to additional features like the L2 Advanced Driving Assistance System (ADAS) called BYD Dipilot, 7 airbags, a panoramic sunroof, a 12.8-inch (32.5cm) adaptive rotating suspension electronic pad, 360-degree holographic transparent imaging system, NFC card key, the Vehicle to Load (VTOL) mobile power station, and other cutting-edge configuration.
