About Me
I have always had animals in my life. From growing up with our family dog, Tuvia, a golden retriever, to having bunnies for 8+ years and now dog and kitty sitting for friends and family, I have had a lot of experience with caring for pets and homes. I am a gentle and thoughtful caretaker and respect the trusting and loving way in which pets bond with their human counterparts! I have experience walking all kinds of dogs, as well as canines that are reactive to other dogs (I often will carry treats in my pocket to distract them), and have used just about every complicated harness there is including prong collars. I have worked for a local Portland dog walking company in the past and they taught us to cross the street when another dog is approaching just to be sure that any possible altercation may be avoided. Your pets safety and comfort is my number one concern. I am especially attentive and vigilant on walks. My schedule is very flexible as I have my own successful natural cleaning business which I set part-time hours for during the weekdays. I am able to check on animals and book overnights without any scheduling conflicts, since I manage my own schedule. I know how important your pet is to you and I truly take care of all animals with the utmost respect and reverence. It is a privilege to be entrusted with the role of caretaker and I take my position very seriously. I also know how nerve racking it may be to let someone else take care of your pets and home and I want every client to feel at ease when they leave them in my hands.
About My Services
I offer:
- House Sitting: $50 per night. I’m comfortable taking care of dogs who are: small (1-15 lbs), medium (15-40 lbs), large (41-100 lbs),
- Drop-In Visits: $20 per visit. I’m comfortable taking care of dogs who are: small (1-15 lbs), medium (15-40 lbs), large (41-100 lbs),
- Dog Walking: $22 per walk. I’m comfortable taking care of dogs who are: small (1-15 lbs), medium (15-40 lbs), large (41-100 lbs),
